Brian Heywood's I-638 would require sex verification for girls' school sports

Washington's legislative analysis says Initiative 26-638 would require students entering female-only school competitions to provide a health-care provider's statement verifying biological sex. It specifies reproductive anatomy, genetic makeup or normal testosterone levels as possible bases. That is a documented new verification requirement. It does not establish that every girl would receive a visual genital examination.
