An October 31 AP investigation documented damage from more than 115 strikes at 26 bases and other sites holding U.S. equipment through August. It found Iran targeted warning systems before attacking aircraft and buildings, with equipment losses in the billions. Earlier Washington Post analysis counted at least 228 damaged or destroyed structures and equipment items. These are different inventories and reporting periods.
